Learning to be happy: The inner journey to happiness

Life is not always easy. We all experience ups and downs. Many people look for happiness on the outside - in relationships, consumption, activities or even addictions, especially when they are under a lot of emotional strain. However, true happiness does not come from the outside, but from within - and that is exactly what you can practise and learn. Because learning to be happy is a path that everyone can take.

How to strengthen your inner happiness through focus and mindfulness

According to the law of attraction, what we focus on grows. So if we consciously direct our attention to happiness - for example through a short meditation or positive affirmations - we begin to strengthen this feeling within us.
A simple example: say the sentence: "I am happy" to yourself in the morning and evening with your eyes closed. Feel how the sentence feels in your body. You may feel warmth, lightness or an inner smile.
Conscious breathing, a quiet moment of gratitude or a prayer such as "Thank you, dear God, that I am so happy" also help to anchor the feeling of inner happiness and to be more aware of it in everyday life.

Recognise and dissolve inner blockages


There is often a veil of unresolved emotions over happiness: Anger, disappointment or deep sadness. Such feelings prevent us from really feeling happiness. The first step is to be mindful of them - without pushing them away. Over time, they can dissolve, creating space for lightness and joy.

Be happy: The conscious decision for your happiness

Exercise is valuable - but a conscious decision in favour of happiness is even more powerful. Imagine planting this decision like a seed in the ground. And then allow yourself to build your life on this inner direction.

If you really make this decision deep within yourself, it will accompany you - silently but constantly. It will remind you where you want to go. And it will help you to bring your happiness into your life step by step.
