Letting go of fear of the future: Why it arises and how you solve it
Nobody can say with certainty what the future will look like - not even the greatest prophets. This is because knowing the future would change our everyday lives. But that is not the point of life.
Ideally, we should live our everyday lives without fear of the future. But almost everyone is familiar with this oppressive feeling. It arises because programmes anchored deep in our subconscious - so-called beliefs - are activated as soon as we think about tomorrow, the day after tomorrow or next year. These inner programmes trigger anxiety, often without us consciously realising it.
It is not important where these programmes come from. What matters is that we can free ourselves from them - and that actually works. The challenge is to recognise them, which requires almost clairvoyant abilities. But there is a simple way to dissolve these programmes and free ourselves from the fear of the future: prayer.
The power of prayer: Release fear and gain confidence
The easiest way is to ask God to dissolve all programmes that trigger fear of the future. It's very simple: you ask - and you give thanks. That's all it takes. If it doesn't work immediately, it's often because programmes are still active that prevent our lives from becoming easy - or because we are (unconsciously) not yet ready to really want it. But when we overcome these two blockages, our fear of the future noticeably diminishes. And what does the future look like then? Much better - because fears no longer influence it.
