Since I started to expand my consciousness and work with people energetically, I have noticed again and again that we all have the same problem: We are poorly grounded.

This is true whether a person is spiritual or not. For me, "spiritual" means "being connected to the divine, being connected to one's soul, being guided by the divine". I had already written about this in another blog post.

If we don't live outside in nature all day, we are usually pretty poorly connected to Mother Nature and accordingly not very grounded.

The result of this is: we are too much in the head and develop all kinds of diseases over time.

If we were well grounded, I think we would have much fewer illnesses and hardly any fears.

How can we achieve better grounding?

I have been asking myself this question for some time now.

In principle, the answer is simple: we should see ourselves as part of the big picture. Mostly we see ourselves as part of a family, part of a society, part of a community, but rarely as part of the whole. In truth, however, we are just that: part of the whole. Of the whole system. By that I mean the earth, but also the universe, God, planets, stars etc.

If we see ourselves as part of the whole (also in the subconscious), we will be better grounded and thus happier.

What also helps us to perceive ourselves as part of the whole is spending time in nature. Because people who are outside a lot are interestingly part of the whole - whether consciously or unconsciously. Why is that? Nature has never separated itself from the whole. We humans have. If we spend a lot of time outdoors in nature, it rubs off on us and we find our roots again.
